FAQ

Our stevedoring scope covers container loading and unloading (20ft and 40ft), break-bulk and conventional cargo handling, RoRo vehicle drive-on/drive-off, cargo lashing and securing, derrick and crane operations, on-site container unstuffing, cargo inspection and tally, and segregation/sorting on unstuffing. Most clients also combine these with our lifting team services, manpower supply, or port-to-warehouse cargo transfer — coordinated under one job number.

We hold ISO 9001:2015 (quality management), OHSAS 18001:2007 (occupational health & safety), and bizSAFE Level 3 recognition from the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Council. All operators handling forklifts, cranes, or derricks hold valid Singapore MOM certifications. Site-specific Risk Assessments and Permit-to-Work documentation are produced before mobilisation on any regulated terminal. Certificates available on request.

We operate across Singapore’s commercial port and terminal network — most regularly at Jurong Port and the wider Western terminals, with experience extending to PSA terminal areas where the principal holds the operating licence. We also handle the equally common scenario where a vessel discharges into a port and the stevedoring or unstuffing job moves to your warehouse, factory, or yard.

Our owned fleet includes forklifts from 2.5 to 7 tonnes in electric, diesel, and LPG; specialised forklifts (rotating, clamping, side-shift); manual and electric pallet jacks; cargo lashing gear and dunnage; trained operators for shipboard derricks; and our own lorry & truck fleet (10–24 tonnes) for port-to-warehouse transfer. Mobile cranes for heavy-lift work are coordinated through long-standing contracted partners. PPE and WSH-compliant safety gear is standard issue for every team member on-site.

The fastest route is to send us your job brief — cargo type, volume, vessel or site location, and expected dates. You can also call 6776 6918 or email benjamin@namsengcargo.com.sg. We aim to come back with a written quote and a site-specific Risk Assessment within 1–2 working days.
